There's something exciting and mysterious about the depth that attracts many divers. By enrolling in the PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course you will learn techniques for diving in the range of 60-130 ft, deep diving equipment considerations and how to plan and organize your deep adventures.
The PADI Deep Diver course consists of a minimum of 4 deep open water dives 1 of which can be counted from your Adventure or Advanced Open Water Course. That means you need to complete 3 deep dives under the supervision of a Specialty Instructor.
We offer this course over three morning 2-tank trips. On these 2-tank trips the first dive site is always a deep wall dive to approximately 100 ft where as the second site is generally a shallow reef dive around 50 ft. This way you actually get 6 dives - 3 towards your certification and 3 more for fun!
Once you arrive on island you will be given the Deep Diver Specialty DVD to borrow and watch on your own time and manual to review in conjunction with your in-water dive training.
The price for our Deep Diver Specialty Course includes 3 x 2-tank boat dives, tanks, weight, Deep Manual, DVD (to borrow), PADI certification fees and shuttle service to and from your hotel.
*The prerequisites for both Deep and Wreck Specialties are that you need to be at least 15 years old, a certified Adventure or Advanced Open Water Diver and fit for diving to be certified as a PADI Deep or Wreck Specialty Diver.
Please review the PADI Medical Questionnaire prior to enrolling in any PADI training course. If you answer "YES" to any of the medical issues it does not necessarily disqualify you from Scuba Diving - it just means your pre-existing condition could possibly affect your safety while diving and you must seek your Physician's approval to dive.
