The minimum age for the full certification course is also ten, the upper age limit based on how old you feel. The commitment for this course is greater than the Resort course , but it is well worth the extra effort and time. After the Open water course, which takes only three days, you will be fully certified to dive-with a buddy-anywhere in the world. The course consists of some simple to grasp academic sessions, swimming pool training and four ocean dives. Two dives from the shore and two dives from our boat is the normal routine. The course is easy, safe and lots of fun!

Imagine your first 2 open water dives on the Wreck of the Cali – a 244 foot schooner that went down over 60 years ago and has become home to a number of fish including the huge and impressive tarpon, colorful parrot fish, blue tangs and majestic angel fish. The Wreck of the Cali is in our ‘back yard', literally just a few steps (and a giant stride!) away from Cayman Diving College.
On the following day you'll be whisked away on one of our boats and complete 2 more dives at one of the many dive sites around Grand Cayman. Get ready to be inspired by the richness and beauty of Cayman waters. We accept referrals from all dive agencies, including SSI, YMCA and NAUI, as well as Universal Referrals.
